however, it is eligible for reimbursement under the <strong>Health Care Spending Account<\/strong> (HCSA).<\/p>\n<h2>How to Make a Claim<\/h2>\n<p>If you&#8217;re wanting to claim this prescription for weight loss, the process is:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>submit a claim under the core plan module<\/li>\n<li>get the Explanation of Benefit (EOB) with the decline<\/li>\n<li>submit again under the HCSA<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2>For Weight Loss, Why Do I Have to Submit to Core Plan First?<\/h2>\n<p>As this category of medication requires prior authorization, the process is that it must go through core plan module first.<\/p>\n<p>If submitted to HCSA without going through the prior authorization process for the core plan module first, it will be declined.
